Establishing a specific plan for the transfer of assets from one generation to the next is an important part of the firm’s practice. Listening to clients’ wishes, understanding their concerns, and drafting documents based on the individual’s family needs and preferences gives each client an individual estate plan. Of course, a discussion of any necessary steps to minimize estate taxes is also a part of the process.
